About Us

Education with a Purpose

At Everlight College Kampala, we embraced the shift from knowledge based to competency based curriculum. A Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) is designed around specific outcomes and the skills students need to acquire to succeed in real-world applications. Unlike traditional curricula, which prioritize rote memorization and standardized testing, CBC emphasizes mastery of skills at an individual pace. This shift not only respects diverse learning styles but also aligns education more closely with the demands of the modern workforce.

"Behind every child who believes in themselves is a teacher who believed in them first."

Dear Team,

As this school term draws to a close, I want to take a moment—beyond the busyness, the reports, and the routines—to simply say: thank you. Each of you has carried out your responsibilities with such heart, skill, and grace. I've seen the early mornings, the late evenings, the creative lessons, the patient explanations, and the countless ways you go the extra mile—not because you have to, but because you care.

You have not only taught lessons; you've shaped lives. You've inspired curiosity, built confidence, and created spaces where our students feel seen, heard, and valued. That's no small thing—it's extraordinary.

I am genuinely proud to work alongside such a dedicated team. Your commitment and compassion are the heartbeat of this school, and it's because of your effort that we continue to grow stronger each term.

Please take this break to rest and refresh—you've more than earned it. Know that your work is deeply appreciated, not only by me but by every student and family whose lives you've touched.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Specioza Kabasinga
